Leaving Castrojeriz involved walking up a massive hill pretty promptly. Here's a view back at the city on the way up.

While I was between Lagroño and Bourgos it seemed as if there were a fair number of people going between those cities, and I hoped things wouldclear up a little after I moved through the latter. Sadly, Bourgos seems to be an important onboarding (onbourging?) point for the Camino, and things have gotten more crowded and more touristy. Obviously, I want to avoid being too precious, but I was definitely having a better time before this change. We’ll see if it’s addressable.
