Ludovico Adreadosto

As a result of having had a Calvino jag earlier in the year, I'm reading Orlando Furioso. I have just finished the third canto, which has a prophetic rundown of one character's noble descendants that rivals even the dullest genealogical sections of The Bible. This is a nod to the family of Ariosto's patron, and it amused me to think of this, in case the post title didn't give it away, as something like an on-air ad read where someone pretends a sincere interest in the sponsoring product.
