Prestige

Looking north at the hill between Muxia and the cape's head.

I'm not sure how these bells and this chapel grew apart.

A monument commemorating the work done to recover from a 2002 oil spill caused by the sinking of the ironically-named Prestige.

Our Lady of the Ship, and a little lighthouse (the church's interior does have a fairly strong nautical theme.)

Just the lighthouse.

The north jetty from the hilltop.

Looking south at the town from the hilltop.

Cape cat.

Southwest from the edge of town.

Rigging cat.

Harbor mouth.

After my languishing period, I took a bus back to Santiago.

I stayed in a final albergue.

Santiago's train station on a drizzly morning.

I took a nap at some point on the train, and when I woke up I was no longer in Galicia.
